Acme United Corp. – Update Interview

In last week’s newsletter we wrote we were going to conduct an update interview with Mr. Walter Johnsen, the Chairman and CEO of Acme United (ACU), to ask him about his prospects for 2010. Well we did, and Mr. Johnsen gave us a positive and promising outlook.

Although the market remains tough, Acme United is picking up sales both by attracting new customers and by launching new products and product families. More specifically, we expect to see a lot of growth in 2010 from:

  • ACU’s non-stick products;
  • the SpeedPak utility knife and;
  • the return of Camillus knives.
